Pink Camo Epicentre

My first project for the year was going to be something for me.

As usual I just couldn’t resist making something cute for a sweet little cubby-cheeked cutie so this project jumped the cue.

The yarn used was Marvel Soft Baby purchased from Spotlight Australia.  A 4ply arcylic which I double stranded the pink/purple variegated with a plain cream to soften the colour changes.

The overall effect looked like a girly version of camo fabric. Quite appropriate for a bubba who’s Daddy works for the airforce.

HOOK: 5mm clover amour

PATTERN: Epicentre pattern.

YARN: 8x 50g balls used with a small amount leftover. 340g.

DURATION: an hour per night for about 10 days (during holidays).

The result was a very unique colouration and measured 72cm wide. Ideal for a pram blanket.
